Senior Powderpuff

The client was Bayside High School's senior powderpuff team. My target audience was the girls who would be playing in the powderpuff game who would wear shirts with the design on it. I used photoshop to create this piece. I tried to focus on the design element of color because I wanted to make something with Bayside's colors put together, along with the mascot of the school. I learned that Mrs. Spivey is sick and tired of seeing the bear and wanted to see a more creative spin on our shirts, such as a different model of a bear or its claws or even a different symbol altogether. I chose the color palette of teal, black, white, and silver because they are the school's colors. Once again, I had a hard time thinking of a creative logo, so in the end, my involved the same-old bear with not special slogans or text. To improve, next time I would use an original image for the main part of the shirt, as well as not use paint to create a crudely drawn image (ex. the bear's shirt). I would try to get rid of all that negative space my logo has.
